Bonaire

Bonaire is a special community of Netherlands in the Caribbean, off the coast of South America. Together with Aruba and Curaçao it forms the ABC Islands.

In addition to Paiamento and Dutch you also hear a lot of English and Spanish on the island.

On Bonaire live about 19.000 people on an area of almost 300 km2 (Bonaire is 39 km long and at its widest 12 km).

It has a reputation of being laid back and very tranquil. You won't find any highways or trafic lights, only a coupleof roundabouts. Because of its slower paced atmosphere, exceptional natural beauty, friendly population and picture-perfect weather, Bonaire os an easy island to get to know.
