Bonaire is one of the Winward islands. It takes about 3 hours to get here from Miami or Houston. United Airlines and Delta Airlines are flying weekly and directly to Bonaire.
From Amsterdam it is a 9 hour flight. KLM and TUI are flying every day from Amsterdam to Bonaire.
Of course, there are other ways to get here. There are leaving daily several flight to Curacao and Aruba from the US and the Netherlands. Between Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire are local airlines flying, more times a day. A two way ticket from Curacao to Bonaire costs around US $ 150.00.
Djambo is centrally located, south of the center of Kralendijk. The airport is less than a 5 minute drive and to the centre of Kralendijk is a 10-15 minute walk.
If you would like to explore the island, we advise to arrange some kind of transportation. We can help with car rental. It is also possible to get around by (E)bike or scooter.
We can arrange for a taxi upon arrival at the airport. The taxi driver will be waiting for you with a sign of Djambo and your name on it. The costs for a one way trip are US $ 15.00.
